The Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival

A wee mention of The Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival which is accepting entries for film submission. The final due date is August 29Th. Last year Irvine Welsh submitted a short film! Here is the mission statement about the film festival ... This festival is the largest of its kind in the world.

"The festival aims to tackle stigma and promote recovery by exploring the relationship between mental health and creativity, celebrating the artistic achievements of people with experience of mental health issues and promoting positive mental health and well being."

For more information on submitting your film go to the Smhaff website and click on Film Competition on the right hand side in the Link List.

All you have to do is send them an email with "Film Competition" in the subject line and they will get back to you with all the details. I imagine entry is free but not totally sure.
