Melbourne Queer Film Festival 2009

The 19th The Melbourne Queer Film Festival has opened its postal box for submissions for the 2009 festival. There is no entry fee to submit your film to MQFF.

"Melbourne Queer Film Festival is Australia’s largest queer film festival, screening features, documentaries, shorts and experimental work with GLBTI/queer themes from around the world. The Festival, renowned for its innovative programming, screens at state of the art venues in Melbourne."

In March and April the festival also hits the road and tours, so if you want to have your film shuttle bused around to various spots in Australia then this is the festival to do it in. MQFF is the second largest film festival in Victoria with some great prizes totaling at around $10, 000.
