The One Minutes is an event that happens globally all across the world as a network of One Minute film screenings, the One Minutes Foundation is based in Amsterdam, in The Netherlands. It is supported by the European Cultural Foundation, and my one minute film Errol Flynn's Pianist will be screening between march 11 & 12, 2009 at the cinema SPHINX in Gent, Belgium as part of The One Minutes Belgium Open.
My film has been nominated in the narrative category along with nine other films in that section. All up there are six categories, Art, Animation, (Self)Portrait, Narrative, Visual Effects and Documentary. Yes, you can make a one minute documentary. Gent or Ghent is a municipality and a city in the Flemish region of Belgium. From the 11th century until the 13th century, Gent was the biggest city in Europe after Paris, apparently bigger then London, Moscow or Cologne. Below is a picture of Gent by night.
