Australia Post is calling for 200 second short films that feature a parcel as part of their 200 years celebration, "The two winning films will be screened at the 2009 AFI Industry Awards", so if you feel you have 200 seconds to devote to a package of some sort, pop along to the entry page here for forms and regulations. Deadline is 31 August 2009.
There are two categories, Youth and Open. Open is from 19yrs upwards. Youth is 32yrs which is my age. Just fooling. Youth is 15-18yrs.
The funny thing about this competition is the entry process. It's not via the post. To enter, you do so Online. No envelopes. No bubble wrap. No stamps.
1. Visit YouTube to upload your film.
2. Make a note of the unique URL that YouTube gives you when you upload your film. You need this URL to complete the online entry form.
3. Go to the Competition website at www.auspost.com.au/200Seconds and fill out the online entry form, including inserting your unique YouTube URL in the relevant place.
4. Ensure that your contact details are always up to date until winners of the Competition are announced.
