You have the right to remain naked

A tribute song for a new Victorian law about to be passed just in time for Christmas and the New Year.

A law is about to be passed by the Australian Government granting Victorian Police Officers the right, in designated areas to strip search anyone they please. Anyone they please. Children, people with Mental Health issues, the elderly, teenagers. So it's free soft-core teen porn for the Police if they get the urge or if you act a bit cheeky to an Officer, chances are they will take it out on you whilst your pants are down to your ankles.

I don't know if the Victorian public will let this law go all the way, we'll have to wait and see. As societies become more prudish and conservative they lack the wisdom and experience of knowing the good, the bad and the ugly of the world. It makes the slightest disturbance to 'community values' appear like outrages when merely it is just humans playing at being human, warts and all. That's why problems increase and become more severe, that's why these kinds of laws begin to be introduced, and guess what? They simply compound all the previous problems and even harsher laws have to be introduced to control all the new problems.

I try and avoid Blogging about anything Political on snuffboxfilms, but occasionally things like this slip through. I will always Blog about censorship issues though, one of my favourite things to rant about!

There is an 'action' day about to take place called 'Move On' Powers, you can join the cause on their Facebook Groups Page.
