Poetry in Film Festival 2010

The official site is up and running. Poetry in Film Festival works in that they choose a poem for the year, and encourage filmmakers to interpret the poem through the medium of film. There however an entry fee of $35.00 but when you consider the self-serving and vapid nature of many festivals with themes (one large Australian festival I won't mention), I think that poetry is a great idea as an incentive to challenge filmmakers. You can read up on the regulations here.
