60 Second Hand Job

I know what you might be thinking, but this isn't it. This is a festival for Hand Held movies. The 60 Second Hand Job is currently seeking entries into its debut festival. You can find many, if not all details on the Video Pool Blog. There is a first prize of $500.00 CAD. The submission fee is a low $10.00 paid using Pay Pal, videos can be upload to YouTube or Vimeo. You've got sixty seconds to shoot a hand held movie. The Online submission form can be filled out here, and the deadline is June 5th 2010.

I conducted the first film shoot for my next one minute movie, I've got three interviews from three talented and brilliant women - I'm looking for my fourth - and got the first model shot. My d.o.p Georgia is a great photographer and we were prepared enough to shoot the model just under two hours which meant everyone got paid decently for their time. Now, I'm going to start working in Dragon Stop Motion Studio and get the first interview mastered.

More on developments of this project as they arise. I'm not busting my gut to get it done as I want make sure I fully develop the ideas into something I really want out of the project.
