Recycled Cinema

The DFF is accepting entries for 2011. At the rear of this post I have embedded their 2010 trailer. I believe the Exploding Cinema division of the Disposable Film festival is still taking submissions - you can locate all that info at the Exploding Cinema site - essentially any technology that is ephemeral in its processes may be used to record your piece. This is the era of capture, our mirrored lives strewn across the net in virtual ripples. Films like RIP!: A remix manifesto, demonstrate a neoclassicist attitude towards the traditional cultural transports.
